# WEEKYEAR

Returns the numbered week of the year for the specified date value.

### Syntax

`WEEKYEAR(dateval)`

### Example

If mydatefield has value '2024-10-30 09:55:00', then:

```plaintext
WEEKYEAR({{mydatefield}})
```

returns: date`44`

### Notes

Values returned are between 1 and 52.
