# FORMAT-GEO

Converts a geo location to formatted text value.

### Syntax

`FORMAT-GEO**(**val, format**)**`

Format options are:  
**'DMS'** - Degrees, minutes and seconds *e.g. 41°24'12'N 2°10'26.5'E*  
**'DDS'** - Decimal degrees, space delimited *e.g. 41.40338 2.17403*  
**'DDC**' - Decimal degrees, comma delimited *e.g. 41.40338,2.17403*  
**'DIR**' - Direction degrees *e.g. 0°N*

### Usage Examples:

```plaintext
FORMAT-GEO({{mygpsfield}}, 'DDS')

FORMAT-GEO('41.40338 2.17403', 'DMS')
```
